Originally from Jamaica, BRAS now lives in British Columbia, Canada. Most of his abstract acrylic on canvas works were created in Jamaica where he drew inspiration from nature while living on a farm in the rural country side. He enjoys creating large works on these big stretches of canvas, without any real plan he lets the paint and the mood guide him into his creations.

After moving to Canada BRAS began to explore the creation of tiny sculptures, quite the opposite of his original works, these pieces are an inspired interpretation of the beautiful flora and fauna commonly found on the forest floor in British Columbia.

BRAS is always looking for new inspiration to create unusual art and is exploring new ways to display his works.

Half of all proceeds from art works sold are donated to Jamaican charities.
